Annie enthusiasts had a tough choice between classic Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin tunes like “Tomorrow,” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” and “I Don’t Need Anything But You.” We've tallied the votes, and three special Annie songs stood out above the rest. 1. “Maybe” – 15%
As the orphanage settles down for bed, Annie sings a touching lullaby as she dreams she’ll one day be reunited with her parents. “Betcha he reads, betcha she sews, maybe she’s made me a closet of clothes,” Annie sings quietly while her orphan pals are fast asleep.
